STAFF SELECTION COMMISSION (NORTHERN REGION) NR/1/2014 Vacancy

The Staff Selection Commission is functioning under the Department of Personnel & Training, Government of India. Initially known as Subordinate Services Commission, it was set up on 1 July 1976 primarily to make recruitment on zonal basis for non-technical Group B and Group C posts under the Central Government, except the post for which recruitment was made by Railway Service Commission and the industrial establishments.

How to Apply
If you are eligible for SSCNR Group- B Posts Recruitment Notification May 2014 then download offline application form from the website, starts from 24th May 2014. You have to submit your application on or before 20th June 2014.

Examination Fees- is Rs. 50, candidates have to pay their fees through CRFS.

Note: Candidate must submit separate applications and pay the fee separately for each
post in case they wish to apply for more than one post.

Candidates have to send their Applications to The Regional Director (NR) Staff Selection Commission Block No.12, Lodhi Road, CGO Complex, New Delhi – 110504.

SSCNR Group- B Posts Recruitment Exam – SSCNR will conduct an examination for the selection of candidates for Group- B Posts. The exam pattern will be Interview/ Personality Test.

If number of applicants are high SSC can conduct exam similar to CGL Tier 1 exam... or they can eliminate candidates on the basis of percentage in higher qualification or finally they will call the applicant directly for interview. Before applying to any post make sure that you will fulfill minimum eligibility Criteria (EQ).

  • If you have done BSc with Zoology or Microbiology as a subject than you can apply for below mentioned post. MSc will give you added advantage at the time of Interview. Also note that they asked for 02 year experience. But in case they will not get sufficient number of candidate for interview than they will consider 01 year experience candidates.

    1. Eligibility for B-25 in Graduation in French, but as you have also done MA in French it will give you advantage in interview. Column 13 is for Ex-servicemen if you are ex-servicemen than write that other wise leave it. Column 17 is for Desirable Qualification, In post B-25 if you have also done any degree or diploma in any foreign language (Other than French) than write that other wise leave it.

    1. As per my knowledge in India French is taught in English (Roman Script) not in Hindi (Devnagari Script). Give me your university name & also tell me that you have done Graduation in French (Hons) or French was one of your subject in Graduation, so i will tell you more clear.

    i want to know that i had worked as a French teacher and i didn't take my experience certificate so in that condition what i have to write in the experience column and currently i am working in a school so can i attach my appointment letter and about my experience certificate they will give me after 2 weeks. reply me sir

    1. If you have experience certificate than write it otherwise leave it. But during your interview please mention the same. Also as you are working as a teacher so you can mention it in your form & attach copy of your appointment letter as proof along with form.

    in the advertisement, it is written that the applicants have to send the self attested photocopies of the marksheets of all semesters. but in my 4th sem marksheet, the university has entered my surname incorrect , for this i have also sent the request to the university, meanwhile i have sent that marksheet copy also with my application.. will it be acceptable?
